I have just completed the curriculum of the MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at HEC Paris and am working on a platform to support social enterprises and non-profits (impact driven organizations) with colleagues from the business school. Our concept is to support the impact driven organizations to expand their business and activities in the global market/scale through partnership among them and with corporates, financiers, governments and other relevant organizations. I have been working for the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), government related Non-profit organization. Firstly, I was in charge of launching vocational training institute for Saudi youth, which was funded and supported by the both governments of Japan and Saudi Arabia. Then, I was assigned as the General Manager of JCCME Saudi Arabia office, the joint office with Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) at that time. I was responsible for launching a new JCCME office in the Kingdom as well. My task as the General Manager was to implement the high level agreement, the Saudi Japan Vision 2030, of which activities were related to Business Enabling, Trade and Investment, and, Energy and Industry. I dealt with several projects, such as renewable energy, waste management, energy efficiency, plastic alternative material, SMEs development, meteorological/environmental data acquisition system, etc., of which areas Japan can contribute to establish sustainable business in the Kingdom in order to diversify its economy from oil and gas intensive industry. I dedicated myself to promote relationship between Japanese and Saudi private sector, and to coordinate communications between the government sectors in order to meet the goals stipulated in the high level agreement. Our teams were successful in creating jobs for Saudi youth and in attracting some Japanese firms to invest in the Kingdom. I also have an experience working as Sales of optical component (optical pickup lens) at Konica Minolta, which I joined right after graduating from the first university. During that time I was involved in Blu-ray and HD-DVD developments and also was assigned as a mentor for a fresh graduate and created a thorough training program covering areas of sales, legal, and technical aspects, of which program didn’t exist at that time. Beside above, I hold bachelors degree in Agricultural Sciences and Policy Management. I am also passionate about sustainable agriculture (food production).
